My doctor has given me this to help with wind sickness... Does any1 use this or has used it?? I dont want to use it if im not meant to x

If it was unsafe for you to take, he wouldn't have prescribed it. If you want your nausea to go away, I'd take it. If your still insure give your bariatric team a ring. They will be able to advise you :)

Yehhh i supose your right. Im just being silly. Just didnt wana take any risks and paranoia taking over. Im gona give it a shot. If it works its a plus xx thank u xx

I have had it after previous shoulder surgery as anesthetic makes me sick. It works really well and is quite safe. Its also given to people who keep being sick after food poisoning etc. Anything really that makes you feel sick. Hope that helps a bit :)

It's an anti sickness drug. It works for my mum who is undoing chemo. Given by Bart's hospital. So should be fine.

I was on and off them for 2 month after my bypass as I was very sick, it did help. Hope it helps you too x

BD, hope you are doing ok and your mum is coping with the chemo. I know it can't be easy at the moment x

I'm getting worse with eating problems but having dilation on 5 Nov. mum doing ok now but had a heart attack & then a suspected stroke post chemo. Chemo now suspended until heart sorted but scans show tumours have shrunk which is good news. I'm exhausted but pleased. Thx for asking. It's been a nightmare!

Oh that is so much to have to deal with at one time. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your dilation goes very well and you can finally get the nutrition you need. So sorry your mum has struggled so much since starting the chemo, I think I've mentioned before I'm a carer for my mum, and she recently had a suspected mini stroke, and is awaiting results from a mri, so I understand how exhausting it is. Very glad to hear the tumours have shrunk, hopefully things will improve for you soon xx

I've just been given Stemetil (prochlorperazine) for nausea and anti-sickness. Took a while to kick in but seems to be doing the trick.
