I have arrived in Vilvoorde, Belgium and anticipate surgery tomorrow Jan 13. I was quite anxious last night but less so tonight. The journey from Ashford was straight forward and quick. Picked up from Eurostar by surgery taxi, nice hotel, clean , comfortable.
Just met with Frederik, who was quite informative and actually put my mind at ease. Will be off for tests and such at 0730 in morning. Actually want this to be WED and postoperative so I can FaceTime my family, as I travelled alone.
