Hi

Welcome:)

I am on day three of the milk and yogurt diet, my op is on Tuesday. I would like to say to you that it's easy but I'm finding it really hard. I keep thinking of my end goal which is keeping me going. The diet is only to shrink the liver so I'm trying to keep that in mind. Also the surgeon will know if you have cheated:)))

Good luck with everything and keep in touch

Kerry x

Hi
I had the band last year and have lost over 10 stone :) I'm very happy with that xx

Be kind to yourself, your body will have gone through quite a major op so give yourself plenty of time to recover. Don't try and rush back onto normal foods as it is counter-productive (speaking from experience here!). Don't obsess about losing too fast. Enjoy the fact that you are taking one of the most important steps for the rest of your life.

Ah thank you very good advice and your right its a very important step in my life and can't wait just getting a bit scared now but also excited and know its a big thing to do and will be hard at times xx

hello, goodluck with everything :D, every where is different so cant advice on the milk and yoghurt diet as I had to do liver reduction for two weeks low fat, low sugar, low carb, small portions and basically low in taste haha :D but I suppose it gets u used to the early road ahead. You just have to take it easy, take time to settle into learning a new way of eating, I am 8 days post gastric bypass so very early days for me. This forum has helped to answer some questions and also nice to see others successful weightloss journeys. And its useful if u have a worry because majority have had some experience in it. Good luck with everything :D x

Thank you it's strange because already I'm trying to eat a lot slower and chew 20 times its just getting use to it I suppose think I will be scared to eat anything in case I am sick after the op and the few weeks after before I have had a fill do you feel hungry x
