Me again

since i dont work and have a lot of free time apart from walking the dog i tend to watch alotta tv shows and movies anything form marital arts to true stories , to ones about people with mental health to other sports like USA football , ice hockey , shoot up'um ones
horrors.

So was wondering anyone got anything they could recommend to me?

We watched Leonardo Di Caprio in Inception the other night. Had to watch it twice to get the gist lol. First time it went right over my head but it's a great film.

Im going to the cinema this week to watch London Boulevard......I love Ray Winston so Im looking forward to that. Shutter Island was a good film too. I like all the gangster film like the Godather 1, 2, and 3.....Goodfellas, Casino...all great films XX

It was a really good film Grace I agree, Sandra Bullock won an oscar for it.....the young black lad in it plays a really good part too. I shed a few tears XX

Dotty it's my fave film of the year and i cry every time I see it. It kind of restores your faith in humanity?

LOVE this film, its based on a true story, which is even more amazing. The pictures at the end are real and are just wonderful.

I have just finished watching A Christmas Carol from 2009 with Jim Carrey in it and i would recommend that, it is quite jumpy but not a horror.

I would also recommend Pelham 123 (john travolta is amazing in it!), A boyfriend for christmas, Gothika, The secret life of bees (very much a tear jerker), shutter island...the list goes on! I love films.

However, i would NOT recommend either Year one or Hot tub time machine. Both had huge hype around them and are TERRIBLE!! xxxxx

I loved the secret life of bees too, it reminded me Dakota Fanning is brilliant in it, and Jennifer Hudson..... they were all good actually,Top film as is Shutter Island.....love Martin Scorsese films XX

i have over 1000 dvds and more on my hardrvie so im not gonna name them all lol

Sports - friday night lights

independent - 500 days of summer

Horror - friday the 13th ;s

family - the mighty ducks LOL , finding nemo

real life - my sisters keeper

drama - Girl interrupted

Army type ones - black hawk down , jarhead

funnies - Lier Lier , anger management

suspense - fear dot com

Seems you have very eclectic taste in movies Claire, I like a good selection but cant say Im really into sci-fi, Star wars and the like. Most others Ill watch and usually enjoy Girl Interupted was a good one, and I prefer the Halloween's to the Friday the 13ths XX

the sifi ones ive seen are signs , and the star trek ones AI
not many ones you know i will watch if i am really into an actor in it doesnt mean i'll like the movie though LOL

when i frist had my brakedown and i was living myself with no dog it was movies i watched all the time
i smoked 40 fags a day drank like a loon and hardy ate
but i watched movies ALL the time esp over night cause i;d be up for 6-7 days at a time and my online friends where asleep or not replying to emails then my best mate came back online and we talked all night and day so less movies got watched
now shes away again im all on my todd again lol

I used to be like you, up all night every nigth almost! It was horrible, its like another world in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping! I sleep much better these days unless the arthritis pain keeps me awake XX
