Must have questions for 1st appointment

Dear All,

I am having my first appoitment for hopefully a gastric band, what are the must have questions to ask your surgeon? I just want to write them down so I am prepared. I know that once I am there my brain is going to go blank! And as soon as I will get in the car I will be oh no, i forgot to ask this and that. Thanks

make a note of them on a pad and take them with you. i had a bypass so asked about the op its self, recovery and healing period... etc

are you nhs or private? if you're private, ask what happens if theres complications and you need to go back into hosp, will you be charged extra
