Well, after all the months passed looking at other people's very inspirational pics, I bit the bullet and found the courage to post mine.
I've always hated being photographed so I do not have many pictures of myself and I only found one taken at my brother's wedding.
I'm not the bride, so I'm the one in brown.

Yes there is most definitely a difference Bally .. It took me about 8st down before I could see change and even now i struggle with it. I think it's just the nature of how our brains work.

It's nice to know that it's not just me. That I'm not the strange one that doesn't appreciate the difference.
I can't notice my body changing its shape but can notice clearly the amount of 'rebuilding' that will be necessary at the end of the journey. :cry::cry:

I'm so proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went shopping in high street shops and Chinese markets and was able to buy "normal" sizes!!!!!
Not yet small sizes but managed some normal priced Ls, some XLs and some size 16s.
This is my happy face this morning while refitting my new clothes.

This is an old work suit that now fits me perfectly!

A new pair of Zara navy trousers (size 16) with a new H&M (size XL) turquoise top

A pair of size L slimming leggings + a Chinese market sweater (OS)

and...my first LBD in ages!!!!
(Chinese market, marked size 2)

I'm know I've flooded you with my pictures but...
...I'm so chuffed I couldn't stop taking pictures of me.
