So I got my first fill today. The initial jab hurt no more than a blood test and then she put the fluid in. I sat up needle in situ to gulp some water to make sure gizmo was happy then got a small round plaster but it didn't bleed. Doesnt hurt after. Enjoy the pic xxx

Oh gawd, that just made me feel a bit queasy! But I needed to see it anyway... There is so much info on before and the op itself but so little on the after care, so thank you!

How did it go? Its not too painful. Just like a bloodtest. And I thought id feel the tightening in my chest area and this really scared me but I felt nothing. Squishy foods for 48 hrs then back to our new normal lol xx

Actually mine wasn't so nice. It took a lot of pushing on my scars to find the port and a number of failed attempts. Once the port was located actually it wasn't that bad but my tummy is still tender on my port scar.

My provider advises 3 days liquid, 3 days mush then crunchy foods from day 7. I suppose they all have their slight differences.

is quiet common for it to take a few goes as the head of the port can turn slightly and after a few years of fills you can get some minor scar tissue but its never more than mildly umcomfortable and always worth it
