Hi all I've had my op but it didn't go as smothly as I wanted. I was goin in ave a gastric bypass but they brought my op forward so when I went down my liver wasn't small enough so they gave me gastric sleeve. I was abit upset in the begining but post op 3 days in I'm not to bothered just glad to be home and recovering here.
Is there any support groups in the Essex area iwould really like to meet with a few people if poss.
Anyway I'm livin on soup and yoghurt which I'm really enjoying at the mo lol
Take care everyone and happy recovering xxxx

Glad you are home and all went well.

There are some great success stories on the forum from those that have sleeves, and I am sure you will be one of them.

Take care of yourself and rest plenty

Bit disappointing for you if you had set your heart on a bypass, but that said, there are many very successful sleevers on here, so as long as you put the effort in (which I'm sure you will), it won't make any difference to your long-term success. xxx

Like others have said, sleeves are a really good op with some great results. I do hope you're one of them. Welcome home and welcome to the Losers' Bench too!

Welcome to the loosers bench and good luck with your new sleeve :D The are some BIG loosers on here who have sleeves :D XX

Hi Jane and good to hear from you.

I'm pleased you are home and we have some amazing peeps on here with 'sleeves' so you are in the right place.

How much weight are you hoping to lose?

Hope to hear from you and wishing you all the very best.

Rest and take good care.

Love and hugs, Bev xxx
