Hello!!!


I just wanted to introduce myself, as i've been somewhat of a stalker over the past few weeks (all be it not my fault, i live in the middle of nowhere so i had to make do with interweb on my mobile, but i have returned to civilization)


Im Rebecca, I had my first appointment with Prof McMahon at leeds nuffield last thurs.
No im just waiting for a date.

Im paying for it privately, and i can't wait.


I'm so impressed with you all, and you have no idea how much this site helped, not just you post oppers... but the pre oppers ad all the clever questions they think to ask!


I can’t wait to start loosing weight!!!

i dont have my date yet, i basically have to call up my surgeon's secretary on tues (coled for easter since friday, and i only had my oppintment on thurs) tell her, heck yes i want the op, and she should give me the date

Hey, ive been watching the site too im really in a 2 & 8 about this kinda surgery im nearly 20 but im so depressed and my weight is holding me back from everything im too scared to see my gp incase she just laughs at me and says i cant have it

yeah i had a sneaky wee read of few that had it done by the prof, and it really helped!

kimberleyx... i didnt go through my gp, so i dont really know much about it... but the worst that can happen is they say no... they more then likely will offer to put you on a diet, and failing that try weight loss pills... don't let it get you down lovely, everyone on here will help you with it. Why not post a thread sking about it, im sure someone who knows the ins and outs will help!!!
