Any ideas on how to boost my energy levels, iam fine during the day but as soon as it gets to a evening I just want to sleep needless to say the hubby ain't impressed lol. I take all my vits and b12 up to date.
I'm a bundle of energy, can't sit still and then just -crash ! Have tried 'pacing' myself but it made no difference. I've read that it's usually down to too few carbs-so when I'm flagging, if I'm able, I have a small banana. It always revives me. Also if I rest a bit I do get a fresh burst of energy.
Having said that am absolutely shattered today but have tummy ache and bad head so that might be the cause xx
The other thing is that if I don't go for a walk before bedtime I get restless legs and can't sleep. But sometimes I'm too tired by then to go for a walk. On reflection though pre-op I'd be pretty tired and inactive all day and still cream crackered of an evening lol!
In fairness I was a lazy moo before and quite content to sit on my backside watching tv. I now go swimming twice a week and walk alot more. Maybe it's just low libido and being tired is a easy excuse
Yup, probably. And maybe a confidence thing too. Don't know about you but my new body is different and well, saggy and soft. B4 the op my libido was on the wane , probably coz I was so large it became a challenge. I decided I needed to make an effort :candledinner: and so far so good. I'm getting more confident and my mojo is returning. :censored: DH is very pleased.
As they say-if you don't use it, you lose it.
I still suffer with insomnia so can easily be asleep by 9pm but awake & dozing from 1 or 2am whatever time I go to sleep but I try to keep going until 10pm at least. After a day at work & walking the site when I get in at 3.45pm I'm shattered as I am sometimes at the start of the day. But I walk to work & back I sit for a few hours once home depending in how tough the days been, I can then get bursts of energy so I do little bits or push past the energy dip if I can to do things that can't wait. Then Saturday or sunday I do sit & veg out it allows my body to catch up & gives me a chance of having enough energy to cope with the next weeks demands. I currently have a hall with a stripped ceiling waiting to be reported, painted as well as the walls plus on up the stairs onto the landing, with tracks waiting to go back up so we can shut out the drafts. All was die to be done this week during half term sadly we are back in Wales visiting our son in hospital so I am now going to have to find time during weekends so we can have the dining room back ready for Christmas & the draughts shut out as the temperature drops.
