Im Meellttinngg!! :)
Hi all
I have just found this forum today and its looking good the more i read
I have just asked my GP for a referral for WLS and to my suprise she didnt say bugger off...lol.
I have just rung for an appointment ( have to make my own with the hospital) and i have a date for the 5th Nov '08.
So now my worries start...
What happens at this appointment ?
Will i find out if i can have it there and then ?
I have a BMI of 45/46(depends where you calculate it) but no high BP or HC, just the aches and pains, low sefl esteem, unable to kneel, shortness of breath, kind of problems. Will this be enough ?
I am probably my own worst enemy as i dont go to the GP'd unless its serious, so havent been for everything, therefore its not recorded on my records. Although i did get prescribed Xenical about 3yrs ago so that will be there. Im just worried that they will say no to surgery as im not 'ill'.
Any help/advice for the appointment or answers to my multitude of questions is appreciated...im sure i will find more questions as i go along...5 weeks is a long time to ponder.
