New gal waiting for referal return with nhs

Hiya everyone experts and newbies alike, I'm 34 56 bmi and 2 weeks ago my go referred me so on tenterhooks waiting to see the outcome, i am under a dietician ATM . Looking for advise or general chit chat or any one in my area going thru nhs so shed any light.

Hi and welcome to the forum. It's an exciting journey with a new life at the end of it. Do you have any idea what type of surgery you would prefer at the moment. I changed my mind once I'd had my first appointment and found out about all the different choices.

hiya Badger and welcome although you dont say where you are in the country your bmi suggests straight away that you fit into most areas criteria by your bmi I am guessing you are thinking of the Gastric bypass? good luck keep us informed on your pct replies lol.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I'm really feeling the support on this site . Well i am from Mansfield , Nottinghamshire and I was thinking of getting banded but I'm guessing they will want to do a bypass. I hope it's not too long either I really have wasted a lots of time umm-ing and arrrrrgggghhh-ing but I'm sure this is what I need .
