Im meeting my surgeon for the second time today, would anybody be able to tell me what comes next in the prosses please ?

Yerh iv been told the nhs is doing it and, iv had lots of blood tests, breathing test, and ecgs done so far x

Possible today he will check to make sure you still want it and you understand what will happen, POSSIBLE tell you the funding as the green light. My surgeon did then after that meeting with dietitian to go over the pre op diet and first stage post op diet. Hope this helps and that is why you seeing him or her.

Thankyou, he said i have to go to a meeting where i can have all my questions answered and then the next step is surgery, do you have to go on a diet? People keep saying they do but iv not been told anything about it? He told me a couple of months maxs, lol raised more questions then it answered x

Yesterday, followed the pre op milk diet which really helped as my liver had shrunk well so not too much bruising x

Welcome. In my experience once you see the NHS surgeon then things tend to be pretty quick. I met my surgeon 1-2-1 about 4 weeks ago and I've got my bypass next month. Should have been sooner but he wants a summer holiday..... Heaps of pre and post op bypasses here so a great amount of knowledge to tap into.

Yeah we had 6 educational sessions. Was pretty good. Surgeon did a talk at one with different types of surgery etc.
