Hello Everyone,

I hope to get to know people and chip in and chat and share my experience to maybe help others on their WLS Journey. It has amazed me to find a website in england, as I have been using a really friendly american one for the past 18months, but it will be nice to chat to other english people.

Hi Angie and welcome

Wow, what a fabulous weight loss you have achieved. Well done. Are you still losing or have you levelled out now? Any complications along the way or has your journey been a straight forward one?

Look forward to getting to know you x

Hiya Sam,

I am currently trying to maintain but my body has other idea's.... I have had many complications for a brief outline, ive had a stricture, which has been dilated x 10 times, I have been admitted x3 times the first after the 5th Dilatation, the scar tissue around my wound site was torn, and the only way to help me was dose me up on Morphine... then I was admitted for another 2 weeks for severe abdo pain, It was also discovered that my BP was too low and my Blood sugars were too low, after lots of tests etc and more strong pain relief things began to get better.... then the last admission was for the whole month of May I was taken in with Abdo pain again, this time the problem was found I had a loop of bowel stuck up ny my bypass site, it must have got caught up there during my original operation, so i had more surgery to have this removed... I am still not 100% I lookgreat so everyone tells me but I dont feel it, My BP is bad at the moment I am waiting till monday to go to get my blood results as I am not feeling good at all, but I DO NOT REGRET having this done I know in the end I will feel as good as I look, and i'm living and learning loads....
Sorry for going on!!! How you doing??
