I am 3 months post op RNY. I am hitting a stall in my weight loss and my doctors keep telling me to eat more calories. Dose anyone have any advice?

I eat 800 to 900 calories a day the doctor wants me to eat 1000 to 1200.
Breakfast: protein drink
Snack: fat free crackers
Lunch: pita bread and turkey
Snack: fat free crackers
Dinner: 4oz chicken

Maybe your having too many carbs Hun with the pita bread and crackers, try cutting some carbs out and have salad with your turkey and add plenty of veggies xxx

Hello and welcome along. x

Hello and welcome! I am also 3 months out and my calorie intake is somewhere between 1100-1200 a day. Changing things up helps me generally. Like Keeley suggested, reducing carbs and replacing them with veggies maybe or make another change similar to that. I've reduced my milk intake (latte's and cappuccinos) and I no longer snack between meals as much and it's made a big difference. It's all a matter of trial and error.. finding out what works and what doesn't.
Hope the weight loss kicks in again soon xx

I am 2 months post op and my appetite is ravenous. I'm hungry all the time & can't seem 2 get enough. It takes me over an hour 2 eat & that makes me be able 2 eat more. I eat alot of fruit (fresh fruit) and I'm not sure if that's good or not. I've lost 29 pounds but am now at a standstill. I don't seem 2 be able 2 eat at scheduled times like I wrote on my sample menus. Please help!
