Aloha everyone...I hope I'm writing this in the correct place. Still trying to learn how this works. I have my first appointment tomorrow to see the doctor to start this WLS journey and I am anxious. I am so ready for change! Can't wait to meet new people and make new friends on here!

I am wanting gastric bypass. My doctor will Dr. Fowler....sorry totally forgot to give any real info on me! Lol I'll be 34 ending of this month ; ( I live on Oahu hawaii, born and raised. Have tried just about every diet I could find with success followed by failure...can't think of anything else so if I forgot anything please let me know...nice to meet u all!

My appointment went good. The doc approved me to have the surgery, now I have to do all the requirements like see the dietician and all that fun stuff. I hope it goes by fast!

WoooHooo! I got 2 appointments tomorrow, orientation and psych eval...on my way and am happy it's going fast..I hope it keeps this pace. I see people writing they have had to wait years, and I really pray we all don't have to wait that much longer. It's not easy being big and all these health problems! Hang in there everyone...our time will come!
