hi and welcome to a great site. Like you i have to lose between 5 and 10% also. I too have sleep apnea . With me they set me up with a sleep embletta machine which i used at home whilst I slept. It takes everything to pulse, bp, breaths, pauses, oxygen levels etc etc. This will give them a recorded history of your might. Ira amazing what it records. I dint think i had it nut my partner told i did stop breathing each night. The machine picked up i stopped breathing 20 odd times an hour. Which is classed as moderate sleep apnoea . Theres mild moderate and severe . I have to use a Capp machine now!!! Hope once i have surgery I will get rid of it! You can also do same sleep assessment at centre. But at home you will obviously be more relaxed and get a more accurate reading as you are in your own environment. Best wishes hun .
