My advice is to do some research on all the different types of wls there is work out what type of eater you are then see what your possible surgeon and team can offer you and which wls is best for you no question you may think is daft never is they have bound to have been asked many many questions so ask away ps ask about the post op care how long it last and what are you entitled to as I often read threads about post op care
Good luck
Currently on my bariatric group sessions got my second one on 17th and I've got my first weigh ahead geoup meeting tomorrow. I'm currently on the 6 months waiting list. Then after that I get referred to the bariatric team which then should be within 4 months. Fingers cross
I've been on a weight loss management course for well over 12 months now at the hope of being referred on the NHS, it did no help for me at all and i ended up weighing more than when i first started, I've now decided to go private as i feel i have wasted a valuable 12 months. I've read up a lot on where i want to go and so far all the things i have read seem really positive so fingers crossed.
Los is right, you will find answers to almost everything on here, had a MGB 3 days ago and recovering well, based my decision on thinbgs I read on here and consultation
Good Luck x
