NHS Hospital Stay

I wonder if anyone can help me, I am hoping to have my gastric band op at Charing X under NHS. Has anyone got any idea how long I will need to be in hospital for?

standard nhs banding is 1-2 nights.

i was addmitted to the ward the night before my op then i went home the day after the op, they let me go after i had some purreed food on the ward x

Charing Cross also do day cases.

I was done at Ashford in Middlesex, who also do day cases. My bed was booked for the night only if there were complications. I was there from 8am to 8pm and went home.

I guess it all depends on time of op and your recovery.

Thanks Caz. The more I read on here the more I just want to get sorted now.
I was so excited when I got my 1st group meeting appointment but reading on here I could still have months to wait. It is so frustrating I just want to be thin now!!!!!
