my new life!!
I've lost my weight and replaced my "heavy" problems with a new set of problems..
I'm going to post again and ask this question as sometimes the more serious questions get ingnored, there's more focus with people speaking about what you've ate today and clothes....
I feel quite alone on this site..there's no long termers about to compare experiences.
It's full of newbies and I can't relate to anymore,as my views are different..the honeymoon has long gone for me.
And I'm just left with a new set of issues..
You'd think after being 4 yrs and 5 months out I'd be just happy..but I ain't.
Everyday I've got abdomen problems.,I got a shed load of tablets to take daily..next week I've got my iron infusion sat on a drip for 6 hours, which in all honesty I'm desperate now to have it.
Passing out,dizzy..it's just constant, and this is just the start of my ongoing iron problems made worse since the bypass,as we don't absorb iron.
I can't do bending, stretching even sitting at the table for long as my abdomen bloats up like I'm 9months pregnant it goes rock hard, then the wind starts.
Along with the wind is a pain which is so bad it hurts even to breathe..like a stabbing pain.
I can only describe as a "kinking" in the abdomen like my inners are trapped.
The pain will ease eventually on its own, helped along with heat.
And daily is the burning pain in the abdomen, high up on the abdomen near the scars.
This is just uncomfortable and a nuisance..I have to take 2 sets of acid type meds to help with this.
They don't always work..but if I don't take them the pain is worse.
On my last appointment my yearly check up,the consultant was happy with maintained weight, but I said at times I regret surgery.
They agreed I'd had a few tests done to find out what's happening..but can't get any answers.
They originally thought I'd had a twisted bowel..
I've had camera down throat,2 body scans done 1 with dye..and now they might be going through the abdomen with a camera to check for a hernia.
I've not familiar with what is a hernia..what's does it feel like?
I'm sorry this isn't a great post..just really fed up,and I know my family wishes at times I've not had this bypass, especially my mother..
