Hiya,

I am 8 months post op, had bypass surgery. Does anyone else have a really noisy tum when they eat....it is becoming increasingly embarrassing at work now, its so noisy i think you can hear it from a mile away! is this normal? Also I have been really achey around the area, more of a muscle type ache? Plus I have not had weight loss now for 3 weeks....any idea's? xxx

I get it too at times i find it happens if i take a lot of fluid on board. Its so loud i've stopped meetings dead. I know what you mean by muscle type pains.I get them around the area where my top wounds are. Nothing serious i don't think as i mentioned them to my team and they didn't seem very worried. That didn't really help much but i will be interested in hearing what others say xx

I have a noisy tummy too, usually when taking a lot of fluids on like Allie........

We could start a tum orchestra if we could synchronise :) :)

I have got a noisy tum too, i am not sure if its my new pouch doing all the grumbling, or my old one shouting for help!

Im 9 months post op and feel like theres a war going on in my stomach, its so noisy and happens no matter what I eat and drink. I think it is generally normal, I've read alot of the same on here.

As to the pains, I'm waiting for results on my gall bladder, as my doctor suspects gall stones. I thought at first it was the usual trapped wind, but after getting peoples advice on here, I realised it could be something else and went and saw my GP. It won't hurt to just pop along and mention it to him/her. xxxx

As to weight loss, I can go 3-4 weeks without any loss, sometimes I can go up a couple of pounds, but then I can all of a sudden drop 6-7lbs, this can happen even when eating identically throughout a month ???? My cure for that was to stop weighing myself and just go by my clothes and how I look and feel.
