So I'm 8 weeks post op on Thursday and according to my provider I'm ready to start eating "normally" obviously still small portions and of course healthier food low in fat and sugar (no salad until 10 weeks). I have to admit to being a bit scared. I feel quite comfy on mashed food with the occasional cracker with low cheese spread but obviously I don't want to be on mash food forever so will start introducing normal foods. The thing is I want to start easy so has anyone got advice or can share with me some of the things they ate in the early days that weren't a problem? I know there are threads of what people are eating at different stages but I'm thinking maybe the first couple of things you tried? I know I can't guarantee It won't come back up but would like to decrease the the risk of that if possible Any suggestions? thanks
