Hi, I'm new here and the date for my consultation is next Thursday, with the op scheduled for the 17th December.

I'm getting a band, and nervous/excited/scared and a billion other emotions all at the same time.

Nice to meet you all, I'm enjoying reading all the success stories and hoping mine will be successful enough to inspire someone some day.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm going private with the op, don't want to face rude doctors and long waiting lists. I'm a student so getting it done before the Christmas hols works best for me, I'm hoping to be recovered by when I get back!
