still feeling c*** 4th day of liver diet:cry:waiting for it to get easyer. My son is coming for tea tonight he wants a curry it will be murder i love curry. 17 days to go before op, i am trying to live day by day. any tips for the hungry feeling? there must be something to make me feel full:break_diet:
 
Keep going Wendy, it has to be in the short term and the long term benefits will be great... good luck and keep plodding Angel xxx
 
keep at it wendy.......i am day 2, i made smoothie out of milk yoghurt and a bannana and this filled me up and today i have drank bucket loads of water which gives the feeling of fullness. This diet consists of more than what some of my previous diets have!!!!!!what i used to do was freeze sugar free jelly and suck on them like sweets or chew on crushed ice until the hunger passed.
It is hard but keep your chipper up...just visualise the end result xxxxxxx

Come on think about it another way. remember when you were a kid and you counted the sleeps until farther christmas came, and you thought you would burst if you had to wait. Well trust me i'm on day 6 and i dont think i'm gonna burst this week but i'm mega excited only4 more sleeps till i get the prezzie i want. come on find a posative

There really isnt anything to make you feel full apart from keep drinking water and NAS cordial, the most filling thing I found was milky coffee, made with all milk, quite a big mug :D Keep going hun, not too long and its worth it :D XX
 
Lots of fluids, diet fizzys if you're allowed, smoothies made with fruit, milk, yoghurt and ice cubes if you're allowed...NAS ice pops to crunch on?

and you're on the home stretch pet. It WILL get better. As AnnieT says, 'eyes on the prize'!

it will get easier..promise!
I had to do pre-op diet for 4 weeks,the first few days was a killer! then your body adjusts..
But you will be thankful for this diet,as it prepares your body for after surgery(as your food intake is very little)
my tip for keeping hunger pangs was oxo,all different flavours,,chick,beef,veg..my dietican said it was ok to include in diet..

good luck its so worth it! x

What about a milk jelly ? It is solid and should last you a while. It doesn't help that you don't have anything to chew, but it will get you in track for afterwards, at thus point in time I wish I had done a liquid diet to shrink liver as it is more difficult afterwards to get in the swing of things. Xx
 
I put a teaspoon of garam masala and cummin into my ww veg soup yummy especially if you love curry xxxx
