Hi I had sleeve nearly 3 weeks ago and have also stayed the same despite 500 cals ish. Make sure you are drinking enough and try not to worry its probably just our bodies adjusting.

I know its disheartening but it will shift soon enough whoohoo ;-) x

Hi Juem, hun not everybody starts to lose straight away, our bodies need to adjust to the trauma it has gone through... you will still be swollen inside, and sl have some gases in your body.. i was told that sme people wont start losing weight until a few weeks down the line and some start losing straight away. I had my op on 25th and i started losing weight after about 5 days... but dont panic it will come off hun xxx

Week 3 is usually the time our bodys realise that something isn't quiet right and trys to hold onto the weight.
Don't worry its normal

Hi there, I'm also 2 weeks post bypass and the weight loss has stalled. I've been feeling quite depressed about it, but I do think this is quite normal (she says hopefully!). I keep thinking I could have done better on WW! I think we just need to be a little patient, keep the fluids up and hope for the best xxx

It seems like this is quite normal after reding so many posts. I'm 5 weeks out and for 10 days lost nothing but now it seems to be moving again. As previous people have said it takes patience and im a bit low in that department. It will happen and remember the fluids they are so important. (says she who struggles with this lol) Good luck to everyone xx

Well I'm so glad that you posted this as I am exactly the same. I've lost about 12lb since the op on the 22nd but my weight has stopped moving too. I've sat at 15st 2 for most of this week where as I have been losing around a pound a day up till now. It's a bit disheartening and I really hope it starts up again soon. I am going to stop weighing every day :D and leave it a few days till I weigh again.

Hi Kate I hope u are ok am glad some one else is like this I thought it was me iv done the same lost 10lb and now stopped I wish they would tell you this but they don't I hope it starts to move soon as it gets depressing how have you been overall are u copping ok with it nice to speak to you xx juem

Still not moved, hoped it would today but it actually went up a pound though that might have been cause I had my PJs on though they are only very light cotton ones so wouldn't have thought it was them really. I'm hoping it will start to move soon as it's getting a bit worrying that it isn't moving. Keep wondering if I'm eating enough, I'm certainly eating loads of protein. Bit depressing isn't it.

i would hate not to loose for 6 weeks, considering what we have all gone through - mine hasnt moved as fast as i had hoped either and i am on fluids only since the op, its peeing me off a bit to be honest

at least we are all the same so it must be normal  they should tell us though mumble mumble mumble hehe xx

Mrs Quiggle I keep fluctuating between 2lb as well. I stayed the same for 5 days then lost 2lb which was so glad about then the last week it went up a 1lb and down a 1 lb. I last weighed two days ago and the 2 lb was back on :(

I could scream lol
