Not very well

I had my sleeve 7 weeks ago, since then i've had cystitis, chest infection, head cold, a rash all over my backside(had to show the GP) am black an blue with biuises, hurt my back while out walking and then today woke up with a really painfull sore throat. i feel like i been in the wars. Don't think i dare go back to my GP in the morning, has anyone else been poorly after there opp?

Lots of people aren't well after surgery. It seems you've had more than your fair share. Do you think maybe you didn't give yourself a proper recovery period post surgery and this is your immune system/body reacting?

If you feel really unwell get to the doctors, that's what they get paid for xx

i have had cystitis a few times now since my op and had a rash over my arms and chest - doctor thinks I have developed eczema
Am hoping that nothing else happens lol.

so far so good here! I work in a school and i know theres lots of colds and sore throats going around - maybe its just bad timing. Give it some time and im sure youll start feeling right as rain x

Have got an appointment with GP at 10.30 been up most of the night, i can't swallow. i feel rough.xx

I hope you feel better soon, you certainly have gone thru the wars. I also had a really painful sore throat start Saturday and it went straight to my chest, so now on A/Biotics. But as has been said, there is so much going round at the moment, I think you are just in the firing line as your resistance is low.

I was sleeved too, I was a bit tired and run down initially but started taking multivitamins/iron and a seperate zinc supplement to give my system a boost and and had a protein drink daily, felt pretty good within 3-4 weeks and started to feel more energetic and was back to work after 6 weeks.

Forgot to mention Boots do a great little throat spray (own brand - flat green bottle) which is antiseptic and numbs thraot too so could try some of that.
