breaking into a new stone barrier or hitting a new smaller size.....

I've done both this week and it feels great. I've been in Asda and brought a fabulous long jumper/dress in a size 18. Feels marvellous. Just waiting for my bottom end to catch up. I do an 18 in elasticated skirts but in trousers with no elastication i'm in a loose 20. However my new size 18 (from ebay) jeans fit, okay i can't breath much but they do up yay lol xxxx

Please oh please share your achievements on this thread. I wanna know it all :) Weight loss, exercise goals, everything :) xx

For me it would have to be taking those size 10 trousers into the changing room and staring at the tiny size of them and thinking 'yeah right' and pulling them on easily...shocked exhale...wow...I dont have to hold my tummy in to fasten the first button...wow...nor for the second button...wowser...OH MY GOOD LORD...I am in a size TEN pair of trousers and they are incredibly comfortable...oh good God in heaven thank you thank you thank you...wow...I left that changing room with a huge smile and put them in the trolley in front of Tom with a huge smile and motioned for him to look at the label..."well done honey" he said and giggled at me a few times as I kept giggling and grinning like a cheshire cat lol I never ever ever even dreamt of a size 10 anything...oh my good grief...how in the world has my fat butt squeezed into them...wow...*smile...grin...grin and giggle* lol
You get the picture lol

Well I went Christmas shopping with hubbie and he came home totally fed up cause I kept going into shops and looking at clothes for me. ME in RIVER ISLAND can you believe it, luved their clothed but made a decision I wasnt gonna pay their prices until I have stopped losing. I went into to New Look and bought a fab pair of boots with fur tops and wedge heels and this time I can walk in them....... I just love them. I also bought a suede type jacket with a fur collar in the sale for £20 ...... yes £20 I just love the outfit cant wait to show off.

I am becoming very very vein.

Edited to say I am a 14 now, I just luv saying it but still cant quite believe it.

Lisa in all honesty, seeing a lot less of all the lovely people on this forum makes me very happy...

My good friend Lisa (wannabeslimagain) has given me immense pleasure. I met her a couple of months out of surgery and have watched her shrink since then. It was truly beautiful to watch her emerge into the woman she is now!

Julie you have done so well - And it really shows, great photos, what a difference a few months makes!

I was a size 22-24 and now the size 20s are feeling very loose. Some of my decent old clothes will have to go. Never tried ebay to sell stuff, but might have to take the plunge!
Bought 2 pairs of size 18 trousers in the sales, and as I have been off this week have had time to turn them up, but at this rate, they may not last that long! Fortunately I got a pair of size 16 at same time, hopefully not being over-optamistic, but I better start on turning them up too before too long!

Go girl go! - You`re doing so well Julie x

Take care hun x

Love Kat x

Thank you Kat, i'm seriously considering some elasticated waist trousers just so they may last a bit longer....

I'd like to wish you plenty of use out of your new trousers but that would be mean, so i wish you luck in finding some nice size 16's in the sales cos you're gonna be needing them xx

What a lovely double acheivement and so many more to come. You will have a permenant grin that gets wider and wider. I know I will never forget the burst of happiness I feel right now when I can actually claim to be healthy weightwise, do a million things I couldn't before and just fit into this society that is so very critical of the obese as a time when its happening to more and more people. I just wish everyone could get this surgery who needs it and start living again
