Now post op!!

Well had my sleeve op on Tuesday and home last night! All went well but I'm still suffering with feeling so uncomfortable and bloated :-( how long am I going to feel like this?!

Glad your home and all done.
Keep walking its the gas they blow you up with so they can see, had it when i had my gall bladder out but i kept walking and moving and it went very quick, is there much pain hun ?? just swapped to a sleeve so trying to get any info i can

I didnt recognise my own stomach after the op, really bloated and distorted, but its just a waiting game now. Each day you feel a bit better. I took paracetamol every 4 hours and the most i did was make a cups of tea. Dont do what i done though, a week after i got out i was feeling pretty good and had friends coming round. So i hoovered the front room and cleaned the bathroom, then took the hoover upstairs. Next day i was in agony, thought id ripped my internal stitches and was laid up for 10 days. They gave me a right telling off for lifting and it has made my recovery even longer. Hope you feel better soon
