O/t pain after you have had your gallbladder removed .

Hi Everybody
I know a few of you have had a post about gallstones . I had radio five on this morning and they were saying that after some people have had their gallbladder removed that some people still get cronic pain . I know this is true because my daughter Gaynor still gets an awful pain were the gallstones where . Take care .

I still get 'ghost' pains 20 years on...only when I eat high fat stuff. If your daughter still has chronic pain I would seriously tell her to get back in touch with the GP or hosital - often some stones can have travelled south towards the kidneys and they have missed them. Post OP chronic pain is not normal nor really acceptable unless immediately after.

My ghost pains don't hurt - just a bit of a squeezing sensation where the bladder was.

Me too tpt and I had mines out 30 years ago .............amazing
