Went to see consultant today and OMG I'm speechless.

I have 2 appts with dietician another with consultant and Bypass 28 March

I'm stunned. Funding is already in place I was expecting to go speak with consultant and then placed on waiting list.

Op is funded by NHS but being done in private hospital.

Stunned is what I am

I have a shunt that runs from my back to my stomach area to drain excess fluid from my brain and the bariatric surgeon from my area wasn't sure about operating on someone like me so passed me on to a colleague in the private sector who has more experience in all aspects off surgery.

brilliant new. the time will fly by, you will go through stages of pre nerves and then excitement. this is normal behavoiur . stay positive and follow the guidelines and all will go well. the journey is almost over now gll and tc xx

Mine was too Hun. Here in Manchester we can choose NHL Salford Royal or
Private Spire.

I was treated so well at The Spire. The staff are so kind. My surgeon does ops at both hospitals.
