Had terrible wind when i had my gall bladder out....i'm with Steph here's hoping for lots of farty tartys and windy pops (as my kids call them!). Hope she feel better soon

remember it well! that was the only real pain i had after surgery, it really does hurt!

Ah thank you all. It eased enough with the peppermint and pain killer (2 lots) that I was able to settle for the night. And then the farts started lol. OMG did I fart. It worked and I slept like a log.

I have a question for post-oppers. The nurse last night said I could only have soluble paracetamol because I'd had a bypass. Is that just after surgery or always because YUCK!

Hi karen, so glad your ok dear. Iv know a couple of people who had bypass and they were on soluble pain killers just until they were able to eat normally again and now they can swollow tablets. Bet your so glad your op has come and gone so you can now start your journey. Im looking forward to going on the journey with you. Bless x

Glad you are trumpeting well Karen hee hee! So good to hear from you and i'm wishing you a very speedy recovery. As for your question soluable is only temporary you can usually swallow tablets within 3 to 4 weeks post op xx
