Op went ok but minor hitch

The op went fine but it's taken 3 days on infusions and drips to get my blood pressure out of orbit at one point it was over 260/129 which is terrible.

At home now trying hard to drink enough to get hydrated finding it tough though

10 various pills a day , and laxatives for 2 weeks minimum now.

No real pain though which is nice

Great to hear you're home, so sorry to hear about the blood pressure problems. It is major surgery though and it can happen. Don't I know it!

Anyhow, take it very easy now and just keep sipping as much as you can. I think part of the trick is to find a drink you like. I recently found Robinson's Barley and Peach and it's lush, I can highly recommend it. It's also nice with hot water. Also try sugar free ice pops, they're still fluid and much easier to suck: so very refreshing!

Sorry to hear you had a tough time of it. At least you're home now. Try moving about if you can, that will help with the wind pain and hopefully the constipation too. Have you tried peppermint tea? That can help with the wind.

Sorry to hear about the BP trouble, good to know you're home and not in too much pain. Boooo to the wind i was hoping the sleeve didn't give so much gip, but doesn't look like it!! I'm only being selfish as i might have a sleeve so wanted it not be be trouble lol

Poor you with the wind pain Im quite worried about that Im off to Charing Cross in 6 days. Glad it went all ok apart from the BP issue.
