OUT OF SURGERY.......

chummy

Hi all I'll make this very quick for today.

Went down for surgery 8am today, recovery = nausea and tiredness, but no wound pain. Maybe a bit of trapping wind in my rib cage.

It's now 3.45 sitting up having 1st cup of tea but can feel the tiredness coming on.

God bless mums, she's been here all day sitting in the chair and on hand when needed.

More to follow. Bye all x

Glad everything has gone ok for you sending speedy vibes to you

Hi chummy happy everything went well for you. That first cuppa was amazing for me but the nurse put half a ton of sugar in it, not a good start lol

I'm managed three sips then fell asleep. We I woke my mum had drunk it. Bumr!!

I will try again later. Struggling at present to keep my eyes open.

Xx

So happy everything went well for you, I remember how worried you were since you had that ear infection... Glad they could do it and everything went well. X

Congrats chummy. Well Done )

Thanks for all your kind words. Feeling much better and relatively out of pain. Still suffering from wind pain. But all in all not doing to bad.

Had to have my injection this morning i couldn't bring myself to do it so my mum was meant to administer it but she chickened out so my nan of 86 did the job. No hanging around she hit me with it so fast I didn't see it coming and wet myself. Oh the joys of WLS. Nan has now been employed for the next four days but I will make sure I go to the loo first. Lol

Managing a milky coffee, half a shake, half a tin of Tom soup and mint tea. I hope by this evening I would have also had 2 natural yogurts and something for tea. Trying to keep on top of the liquid food as yesterday I only managed 1 yogurt and a quarter of a shake. Then felt terribly sick so slept early evening straight through to today.

I hope your all continuing the battle. Xx

Your Nan sounds amazing! It is a bit weird to inject yourself, I was pretty apprehensive as I can't even wax my own legs with fear of the pain!

Hope you continue to do well and the wind settles down. I found that the most uncomfortable.:)
