Dont know if its a change in the weather,as its gone very damp and dreary here, but my joints are playing up.Especially my right hip, glory the pain is fierce.Ive taken anti inflams and Tylex all day.Tired but dont want to go to bed cos I know I wont get comfy and end up getting up anyway.I know i shouldnt moan but when the pain is so strong and cant take the edge off it,its hard not to!Maybe its a trapped nerve, will try to see gp in the morning.Night all.Maz x

oooww not good hun, bet its the cold getting to ya joints, hope it eases off soon and you manage to get some kip xxx

Hope the pain eases off a little bit for you hun to enable you to get some sleep. I have really bad joints too so I know exactly what you mean and the damp really does affect mine. Hope you get some sleep (HUG) XX

Yup my joints are taking a battering as well esp my back and knees

Hope you feel better soon
yes Gp visit is a good idea.

I'm sure the weather can effect how your joints are. I was fine and managing my pain nicely until the icy weather started in November and since then I've been in agony. When I'm really bad and my co-codamol and gabapentin don't touch it, I will be very naughty and have some ibuprofen. I know I'm at a higher risk of an ulcer due to my surgery but I only take the ibuprofen rarely and it does help.

I know how you're feeling, it's awful not being able to get comfy in bed.

Good luck Maz...

Anything that has a weakness aches in the cold I find... as I've got near to retirement... I'm just the same, never had it years ago... but everything now has some arthritis... (the weight hasn't helped).

Keep as warm as you can and keep out of the cold if you can Maz... we have a couple of milder days and then... it's back to the Arctic.

Love, hugs and good luck xxx

This damp, cold weather is not the best for joint pains. Keep yourself well wrapped up and hydrated. Are you sure you're not coming down with something? This was how I was then the flu hit me. Apparently TJ Hughes and Primark have got some good reasonably priced thermals in. It might be worth you trying this to give your joints extra protection if the GP can't help.

Ah Maz I hope your ok :hug99:sounds painful.

Take care xx

Maz, do you normally suffer with aching hips? I ask because since i lost weight my left hip aches when i sleep on it. I toss n turn for half the night...

I don't know if it hurt before but the fat cushioned it or what.

I hope it gets sorted soon, nothing worse than pain and tiredness working hand in hand to grind you down!!!! xx
