Periods Can Anybody Help

Hiya Ladies,

Sorry guys this is one really for the ladies!!

I am now 14 weeks post op and since my op I have had 1 period in October which was painful and came as normal!

I did have a period whilst I had my surgery but since October have not seen anything!

Now I'm not sure if this just my bodies way of adjusting and am bracing myself for a nice heavy period ;(

I keep feeling like I am
Going to come on but nothing happens!

Just wondering if this is normal?

And is anyone else having irregular periods.

Had my op in early October and was on then, had another 3 weeks later then nothing seen lots of threads about this on here so not really worrying about it x

I had my Op 6 weeks ago and was meant to come on 3 weeks ago but still nothing.
I had my 6 week appointment today and asked my nurse if this was a common thing. She said that it is extremley common. The surgery itself can mess up your cycle along with dramatic weightloss. She said just be patient It will come!!

Hi Jo, It is very common so don't worry If you are on the pill, be aware that it may not be 100% due to absorption issues. Don't trust it xxx
