It's madness I tell you. I had to queue for 45 minutes at the forecourt this morning. I didn't even want petrol, I wanted a book of stamps and a pasty before they go up in price.:character00182:
I know what you saying regarding petrol madness, I had to que for over an hour to fill up yesterday and when I went by the garage this morning they where closed with no petrol left. We only have two garages on the island I live on and they are now both empty.
same here in Nelson, people queing at asda last night then there was a power outage then it came back on after an hour only to be told sold out of petrol
A lot of garages here have sold out completely of fuel. The problem is, if you don't panic buy as well then when you actually need petrol, you might find all of the stations sold out until their next delivery so your damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Huracaneal...I think some may have missed your wit and humour today!
I must admit I considered stopping at the garage to fill up - glad I checked the gage first as I actually had a full tank, what a plonka I would have been !
i got up at 6.30 to get there early , glad i did , the tanker was making a deposit then , ok i waited about 40 mins , but as i was on the red already i couldn't sit in a queue . as i left the station there was a nice long queue already . i'll just grab some zzzz's later
im gonna panic buy crab sticks, rose wine, baybels, mini pepperamis, decaf tea, chicken, bread and milk... well thats what
im gonna get at tesco today lol
