Sorry to bother you Pierce, just a question, what is a bin file? My pc just crashed, so switched it all back on, clicked on update AVG and it said no can do because there is a missing bin file?!

I'll admit to being a complete technophobe and am on my knees asking for help lol!! XXX

Gonna go to bed now, but will be back tomorrow morning.

I dont use AVG and would recomend Antivirus Software - Eliminate viruses with ESET NOD32 Antivirus and ESET Smart Security

A bin file, is not to do with rubbish, it short for "binary" file.

I believe it might be one of the virus definition files or some other file apart of AVG.
