Port trouble i think:-(

I have a question

In the last hour my port is starting to hurt a little and it gone rock hard around it

I can't get comfortable I've tryed laying down sitting up and it still hurting I've tryed a hot drink nonthink just tryed to eat but this hasn't helped :-( so am not sure what it is??

But never had this before anyone else had this

Sorry, I can't help from my own experience, but if that happened to me, I would be probably on the phone to the hospital/consultant. It might be nothing, but you never know. Just to make sure...

Give the emergency nurse a call in ur THG pack! Mine is tender today and still hard. There may be a clot of blood around it causing the pain. Have u done anything strenuous? Call them for their advice... keep us posted x

No not that I can think of :-(
I've been rushing about today here there and every where after work!

Am gonna give them a call as am worried now:/(

Hello everyone


I call thg emergency number I was told somone would call me back within 30 mins and tbh it was about 10 mins.

I told them my port was v hard and hurting around it. I was asked what I have been doing today or what I have eaten
I was asked weather I thought somthink got stuck? I said I did not think so as if this happen it normal comes straight back up:-(

I was asked if I'd been sick a lot today as this can Irrite my band but I was sick at lunch time but it did not start hurting then :-(

I was told they was not sure what it was and to try to have a hot bath to see if this help but it never so I decided to just go bed as I did not no what to do!!
I was up in the nite quite a bit in slight pain not as much as last nite it still rock hard tho this morning I was told they would re call me today to see how I was but if am honest I don't no how I am:-(


It hurts still slightly and still hard

I get this if I've put the band under pressure by eating too much, doing too much etc. rewind onto liquid for a day and it usually relaxes back to normal x
