Hi there, as you know I'm newly post op and forgot to ask the dietician if it would be okay to have for example an oxo cube in hot water or spoon of bovril just for a change. Any advice?
I also like my squashes warm. I recently discovered from Sainsburies: Spiced berry cordial, from the Green Bottle Company. 5g sugar per 100mls as diluted - I dilute it a little more as it's quite strong. It tastes very much like mulled wine!
Delicious!
I like their elderflower cordial too. Again I'd dilute it more than they say as it's very strong.
Avoid other similar cordials as they have 3 times as much sugar!
Lol@deep joy!.......the things that bring pleasure to us after the op makes me laugh......who would think of being happy about Oxo I was sooooooooo happy when I finally got to have mash and gravy lol oh we live such a fabulous life XX

I had some chicken last time the family had fajitas, it was nice at the time but I think it was a bit too spicy for me I had tummy ache for a while and then "visited the facilities" several times over the next few hours lol XX

Yes I do tend to avoid spicey food, it doesn't yet agree with me. I was very upset earlier this week after a little bit of take-away curry. Shan't be having it again for a while. But my recipe has minimal spices, its just tangy and tasty.
