Post op week 3 constipation

Hi everyone
Well I'm now home from the hospital after my few days ordeal. Thing is I've now started to suffer from bad constipation which upto now I've not had a problem with :-(
This evening I've tried to 'go' and all I could do was a very small one but it contained mucus. Does anyone else suffer with this?
I've taken a sachet of movical tonight but not sure if I'm allowed to take it, but I can't stay bunged up!!

im not sure about movicol as not had it before... but constipation can be quiet common... i was constipated for a couple of days last week and i was advised by my consultant to drink plenty of fluids and have some lactolose x i was ok after 2 days x
The mucus is nothing to worry about.. our body is getting rid of all the bad stuff xx
