Pre and post op dress sizes

Hi

I don't know about everyone else but I'm fascinated by how dress sizes change throughout the weight loss journey and wondered if anyone would like to share their experiences of how their sizing reduced with weight loss. I'll start off but would love others to share.

7.5 months post op, weight - 14st. Dress size - 18

Now 13.7 stone - practically a size 16

I'm 5ft 4. Carry all my weight on my tum and legs boo!

Clothes size 30/32 plus
Now 10 months post op 14 stone 10lbs
Size 16/18 (which I still can't believe!!)
forgot to add 5ft 7ins

I too find this so interesting - a lot of people in nearby sizes are a lot lighter. makes you wonder if there's any truth to being 'big boned'

I think your height has a lot to do with it too Yve. I think the taller you are, your dress size will be smaller regardless of your weight loss.

Not had wls but my dress sizes were:

Weight 14st 10bls size 20

Current weight 10st 12lbs size 14

My sizes are always increased due to excess tummy skin :cry:

I am 5ft 4 in,pre op I was 21 stone and 2 pound,size 26/28,post op i am 13 stone and 9 pound and a size 16,had my op on 29/11/2012.

I'm still pre op but I've lost a bit before hand I was 19 st 11lb and size 24-26 (more 26) I am currently 15 st 11lb and I'm a size 20. I'm 5ft 3. I'm really looking forward to seeing my size go down.my first goal is a size 16 as I was that size before I had my son.

I'm 5'5 and am 11 months post op, starting (pre pre op diet) weight 16 stones 10 lbs size 22 and I'm now 10 stones 0.5lbs and a size 10 (some times an 8!)
