Pre-op and tests

How much notice do SRH give you for preop diet and the pre-assessment tests? how long before the surgery do you usually get these?

Hi I got the diet not long after my endoscopy late aug. not got a date yet. I have put weight back on since my endoscopy. Can't focus at all so panicking. My op is feb. I called the nurse last week and he checked with Mr Smalls secretary. Where are you in the process?

Ignore they as I have just read your updates on the bottom of your signature. My endoscopy was aug 29th at Sunderland.

thanks Borogirl. I'm hoping I dont have to have another endoscopy as i had two with the balloon - one going in, one coming out! I saw Mr M late Nov and he put me on the list for 'soon' - 6-8 weeks, so hopefully by end Jan. I've put a little weight back on after balloon - its been out 4 months - Mr M said he expected some weight gain - trying to get it back off but its not so easy when there's no restriction. Do you know what op you're having - stats say sleeve or bypass?
