Pre op appointment

Can any one tell me please what happens at your pre op appointment?Do you get any vitamins etc that you need for after the op?Does the dietician see you at this appointment or does she come and see you after your op?can any one who has been under the L&D please give me any answers.

Didn't want to read and run. I think it's different at each hospital. As a bander I wasn't given vitamins and any other tablets were given me when I left hospital.
