Pre-Op Assesment...what to expect??

Hello everyone,

How are you all doing? I hope you all are enjoying your valentine's day with loved ones.

My pre-op assesment date have been fixed now. Its on 2nd March and my Surgery is on 23rd March. Can you all give me some idea's of what to expect for the pre-op assesment?

I have already lost around 9% of my body weight from the 1st appointment. i am a bit concerened about my blood pressure and blood sugar which are quite high. is the any possiblity of getting the surgery cancelled for these reasons?

Hi on my pre op assessment I got weighed and has Mrsa swabs done also blood pressure, bloods and ECG. Just to make sure your fit and healthy for your op. Good luck for your op x

Just a cotton bud rubbed in nose and groin. It's to check for a infection (Mrsa) not to worry if you have it as they will treat it before op. X
