Pre-op assessement fine.... What next???

Hi guys

Had my pre-op assessment and all is fine to go ahead for my band.

What happens now? Do I wait for a date and that will be the next time I go into hospital?

Or will I still need to see my bariatric team to still be checked up and make sure i'm getting on ok?

I wish I could advise you but I was not blessed with the NHS route. I should think you wait to hear from them x

Hello there

I was given my date prior to my pre op assessment, and had my pre op about 4 weeks prior to the op itself, Its difficult to advise you as all pcts are different. All the best anyway - Julie xx

Yes lovey all areas are different.
Im Sheffield.

I was told at my pre op apointment that its a 12 weeks waiting time for the op, that takes me up to the 15th of December.
The nurse said that if it goes over 12 weeks then another pre op will be necessary, but they try to avoid that unless there is an emergency.

Its a nightmare love xxxx

Yeah I got told my pre-op would only last for 3 months too which takes me to January and their waiting list is 18 weeks
