Hey all, my pre-op diet consists of no fat yoghurt, tea, coffee, squash and that's it!!
I feel so weak and so tired, finding it really hard not to cheat. My op is booked for tues, so not long to go, just need to stay strong for 3 more days!! X

Are you or does your diet not include things like NAS jelly or a bovril/oxo? :(

Not long now, I know it can seem an awful long time, but think of the way your liver will be in readiness for your op :)

No it is just flipping yoghurt, no oxo or anything like that, no jelly nothing, think I'm turning into a yoghurt!! X

Not long now I know it's the hardest two weeks ever but the hard days are done I felt the same but it will ok I'm 3 day post op still I pain but can see the light :) xxx ps i hate yogurt now lol xx

3 days wow not long now :) your liver will be perfect after this and you must've lost weight too xx good luck take care and go to bed early so the next day comes quicker (an old trick of mine when i couldn't wait for something ) x

Keep strong it will be worth it in the end. Not long to go but seems a mile away :(. xxx

Bless ya keep the end goal in sight! Im on day 6 of my milk diet, and today iv had zero energy, bit light headed and low in mood! it is tough but we can do it!!! counting down til the 13th :) good luck for your op! xxx

Are you sure have you not got it wrong, this is nothing like any pre opp diet that i have read. All of them that i have seen let you have milk. I dont no how you are doing it. I would be on the phone and asking if you have it rite. But good luck you can do it. I start mine on the 7th but i can have milk and home made veg soup so long as i dont put patoes or lentils in everythig els is ok xx

I did check, but they said to refer to the paperwork, and that's what's it's says! It is killing me, but only 2 more days!! X

kalkat.. I would ring your provider and try and speak to a dietician, and see if they would approve maybe an oxo or bovril drink or sugar free jelly or something else if you are finding it hard.. Does seem strange they won't allow you milk though... But good luck, you are so nearly there now xxx

Ahh why did I read this post- my Pre op starts today and so nervous already about not having energy for kids etc! Good luck with it!!!
