Private banders and band fills.

Hi was just wondering where those of us who paid for our surgery have their fills done? I don't want to travel all the way to Birmingham but would go as far as leeds/hull. I live in linconshire. Also I don't want to get completely ripped off either! If anyone can give me an idea of what hospitals do it and how much that would be great. I have tried looking on the net and it's crap the websites don't tell you how much!!! I know before I see fills done for £80 but can I hell as like find it!

Most fills seem to be around the £125 mark privately, £250 for one done with xray.

The Lincoln Nuffield do them apparently.

ive heard ppl getting them for £75-£80 i cant remember who with tho, this was for a standard blind fill, i will try and find out.

Hi, I have mine done with the WLS Group and find them to b really good. Prices r as per mrs cakey bun lol although sometimes they do put offers on for the packages. I opted for the 6 mth package but they had an offer on, can`t remember how much it was to b honest but it was alot less than £349.99 x

Hiya thanks for your replies, I managed to get hold of Prof McMahon who did my surgery and I am having my fill done by them at leeds Nuffield for £85.00, so am well pleased. I couldn't get in though till the 4th june and can eat anything including bread so am well ready for one. I also had my discharge letter which says I have the size 14 band and not the 12 I thought I had! But I can't wait and wish it was sooner.

Thanks for that, I am quite new to this site, I am 11 days post op and this information is fantastic, I will def be looking into this, I will prob leave it till I come back from my hols b4 I book a package Mandy x
