Protein again!!!

Just a quick question,where do the protein shakes fit into the eating plan,is it classed as a meal or a snack,I am having trouble getting my protein in so I thought I might try some,thanks all.x
 
I usually drink a glass in the morning if I don't fancy breakfast but I know the doctors would rather you get your protein from food rather than shakes but sometimes if you're not going to ill or feel sick then a shake is a good option. i know a lot of people add cheese and powdered milk to everything to bulk up on protein. :)

Thanks for replying Hun,I tend to use the powdered milk,not so much cheese as I'm not a great lover to be honest.Its just the meat I can't tolerate at the moment,chicken is the best for me,but it takes me absolutely ages to eat just a little bit,and even then,I sometimes feel really bad discomfort,and now and then I'm sick cos it feels stuck,have to keep at it maybe things will get easier,that's why I thought about having shakes in the short term,x
