Oh my, i used to be a chocaholic except for ice cream/cake/drinks which i never used to like! Am glad you're getting a fix though I have a yummy creamy toffee one, in fact i may have one a bit later Enjoy xx
Where did you get this from Charis? I hate the idea of protein shakes but if you recommend that one (and it does sound nice) I will give it a try after surgery.

Hi Karen, I got it from a site recommended on here,
myprotein.co.uk
and I ordered a sample size of all the flavours. I didn't like the raspberry one. I suspect the stronger flavours will be the best as the hide that 'Cambridge diet' taste.
I'll post my opinion of the al as I try them if it will help.
One sample pack is 99p! I didn't notice the grams!
But mixed with 250 mls milk it makes a reasonable drink.
250 mls is a lot post-surgery!
I've had to drink it in 2 halves. I wouldn't want it any thicker.
No, I haven't tried th protein bars as I'm still on the puree stage.
I mix it with lactofree milk as I seem to have developed a little bit of a lactose intolerance. You can mix them with water, but I don't think they'd taste as nice.
+, post-op, you need as much protein as you can get really.
I tried this yesterday and REALLY tried to make myself drink it as I know I need the protein. But it tasted utterly FOUL!

In my opinion!
I gave up in the end and had a milk shake with a couple of extra spoons of Marvel in instead.
