Haylz iam 8 months out but it's never been mentioned to me at all x

I have been told 60-80 and also the first few weeks are vital for getting protein in for the healing process, and was advised milk products to get it.

Hi Happy, my dietician told me the same 60 - 80. To aim for it as soon as possible but realistically once on stage 3 which is where you are I guess. To eat protein first, veggies & fruit second, carbs last, as it is essential to keep your protein up to maximise weight loss. Good luck, babe xxx :):)

I've been logged into my fitness pal and just looked back over the last month out of curiosity I average about 50g a day but it's only food I've never had protein bars or drinks. Iam 1lb off nine stone loss since op but my hair is still falling out, I take extra zinc but wonder if it's protein related.

It could be, I don't use extra protein just what's in food, but my fitness pal helps loads on it, some days I have like 40-50 grams other days I have like 70-80 which makes it up all depends what I'm eating, but trying upping you protein for a few weeks and see if that helps xx
